Erick Smith PE

Professional Engineer and Master Electrician with diverse experiences. Beginning his career in electrical contracting, he has extensive experience in cost estimating, project management, and design.  Erick has taught electrical apprentices through the apprenticeship program.  Continuing to develop his experiences, Erick moved to academia where he was an adjunct professor at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. 


Erick expanded his education and received a Master's degree in Construction while developing skills as a grant writer and administrator.  From the receipt of nearly $1 million in grants, a local foods processing and distribution company was developed known as This Old Farm Inc.  Designing, building, and administering This Old Farm's facility in Colfax, IN., it has become one of the only certified organic, USDA inspected facilities in Indiana.  


Erick continued his business development and growth in the engineering sector. As Vice President of a mid-sized MEP Engineering firm, Erick was tasked with production of projects, client fulfillment, and corporate development.


 As partner of Incident Energy Engineering LLC, Erick continues his dedication to the engineering industry  and has established a specialization  in Power Distribution System studies.


Working in the electrical and engineering industry for over 27 years, Erick's knowledge and understanding of electrical power distribution systems is the solid foundation of what we do. 

Jennifer Wilcoxson

Electrical Designer and Power Systems Analysis Technician with a solid understanding of NFPA 70E.  Beginning her engineering career as an office manager in a mid-size MEP Engineering  firm, Jennifer expanded her skill set to include electrical drafting, design, project management, and NFPA 70E instructor.


Jennifer has continually continued her development in NFPA 70E and has been invited to speak at trade shows and provide training to electricians and engineers through out the Midwest.


Jennifer has performed thousands of electrical power distribution system studies over the past 15 years and has developed a solid reputation of responsiveness, timeliness, and excellent service for all her customers.


Jennifer understands the process and will walk each and every end user through the NFPA 70E to insure worker safety.  Jennifer is passionate about worker safety and believes the service we provide is crucial.


As partner of Incident Energy Engineering LLC, Jennifer continues her dedication to worker safety and coninues to perform her duties in Power Distribution System studies and NFPA 70E training.
